Moratorium Ending

If you are behind on rent or mortgage payments, reach for help now! The moratorium on mortgage and rental payments is set to end on the 31st of December 2020, which means that the time for action is NOW. Although we do not have funds available to help you make payments, National Affordable Housing Network (NAHN) is prepared to help you open and organize mail, avoid scams, and reach out to lenders or landlords for assistance with repayment options. This no-cost service is available to anyone who needs assistance managing housing payments and other financial obligations before the end of the month.

The federal moratorium is not a forgiveness program, it is designed to allow you and your landlord or lender to work out alternative payment arrangements to allow you to stay in your home.  Therefore, you must communicate with your lender or landlord. This free service provided by NAHN can help you find routes to communicate with those parties effectively and work to keep your housing. Please reach out as soon as possible to begin your free consultation with our counselors at National Affordable Housing Network to avoid scams and work towards effective repayment of mortgage, rent and other bills that are protected by the moratorium until December 31, 2020.
